WHO AM I?
Northern Roots. Southern Raised.
Born in New York, I spent the first eight years of my life above the Mason-Dixon Line, surrounded by loving parents, my sister and her growing family. In third grade, a trip to visit my sister in Georgia turned into househunting when my parents decided it was time for a change. I was quickly taught to say "ma'am" and "sir," and I learned what it meant to put something "up."
My first year at Auburn was filled with sciences and maths. While learning the structures of cells and how to find x wasn't the worst thing, I also didn't love it. Following a minor breakdown and some major introspection, I realized I couldn't see myself doing something that I didn't love. I needed something that could fuel my creative soul. My passion for writing and my love of communicating led me to public relations.
Now residing in Nashville, Tennessee, I am the Marketing Communications Coordinator for Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. I spend my weekdays in the Batman Building, and my weeknights taking online courses, writing and watching Netflix. On weekends, you'll find me all over the place, visiting family and friends or following my fiance on his journey to the big leagues.
